CityScape Policies

Sale Process

  1. Client will be provided with a contract or work order outlining the work to be completed on each project.
  2. Once client has signed the contract or work order and supplied a 50% non-refundable deposit, CityScape will begin their work processes. All Rural Templates must be paid in full before work will begin.
  3. CityScape will provide conceptual comps for client review, the number of comps will be outlined in the contract.
  4. Client will select the comp they prefer and either authorize CityScape to move forward or request revisions.
  5. Client will be able to request up to three revisions of the selected comp before incurring any additional cost. A single revision can consist of several changes, but once the changes have been discussed and signed off on, that revision is considered authorized. Once all revisions have been completed to the clients satisfaction another 25% of the total charge will be requested before moving to the next phase.
  6. CityScape will start construction of the project based on clients authorized direction. Once the build process has been completed the client will review and be able to request any “minor” changes to what they see. “Minor” changes can consist of text changes, menu item changes, small adjustments to element positioning, etc. If a “major” design change has been requested then this will incur additional charges based on the amount of work to be completed. “Major” changes can consist of any changes to the design or structure of the project which deviates from the authorized documents that were signed-off by the client.
  7. Once the build process is completed, and the client has reviewed and signed off on the final product, the remaining balance will be requested and received before the digital files are released, uploaded to the host/server, or the printed materials are handed over.

Refund Policy

If the client has a substantial reason to be dissatisfied with the initial design concept(s), the client is entitled to a complete refund. The client must request a refund, in writing, within 30 days of receiving the initial concept(s), or the right to a refund is waived. Refunds will not be given after the client has authorized a concept or requested a revision. Refunds will not be given for printing, shipping, taxes ,or license fees paid to 3rd parties.

All Rural Templates are non-refundable once purchased.

Ownership / Return Policy

CityScape Design Studio retains full ownership of all design concepts and materials it produces. Once a final concept is released to the client and full payment has been received, complete ownership rights to that concept are transferred to the client. Unused concepts remain the property of CityScape Design Studio and we reserve the right to use paid-for concepts in our promotional materials and in our design portfolio. Unless the client requests otherwise, CityScape Design Studio retains the right to display a byline claiming design credit on works it produces.

Materials provided by 3rd parties (e.g., typefaces, website plug-ins, stock photography) may be subject to other copyright limitations and remain the property of their respective owners.

Cancellation Policy

If a client elects to cancel a project after authorized work has begun, CityScape Design Studio will retain the 50% deposit and reserves the right to invoice the client for work completed on their project to the point of cancellation.

Delivery / Shipping Policy

If materials are not being delivered electronically, CityScape Design Studio will work with the client to see which delivery method is best based on the date materials are needed, and cost of delivery method.

Abandoned Status

If a client should abandon a project by way of negligence an invoice shall be issued for the amount of work completed to the point of abandonment. A client will be deemed negligent if he/she has not responded to repeated phone calls or email messages for 30 days or more.
